The Centre operates under the Sanepid Committee. Its principal purpose is retraining and professional development in sanitary and epidemiological wellbeing and public health.
Development of curricula and learning resources, delivery of courses, applied research and international cooperation.
The Charter defines the Centre’s rights and obligations, management duties, governance, property, accounting and reporting.
The Charter provides for the development of in-person professional training, placements at research institutions and abroad, independent learning and distance education. It also provides for modern teaching technologies and digital learning resources.
The Supervisory Council reviews curricula, course programmes and departmental reports. It monitors compliance of retraining and professional development with national education requirements and the implementation of curricula and programmes.
