A training session was held on the topic "The importance of routine preventive vaccination in the prevention of infectious diseases, current issues of immunoprophylaxis" for the audience of the center for retraining and upgrading personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health.
Head of the Department of Vaccine Logistics and Immunoprophylaxis of the Sanepid Committee, Ph.D. Dilorom Tursunova and chief specialist Khursanoy Jamalova focused on the role and importance of vaccination in the prevention of infectious diseases in a theoretical and practical training.
During the theoretical and practical training, the method of cold storage of vaccines was introduced in the national vaccine storage warehouse of the Republic. organization of measles prevention and measles vaccination, as well as the preservation process of the received measles vaccine were studied. The responsible specialists of the Sanepid Committee answered the questions of the participants.
In the practical training, the cadets learned in the practical training how to observe the cold chain in the national vaccine storage warehouse of the Republic, which was taken to vaccinate children against 13 types of controlled infectious diseases based on the national vaccination calendar.
