Seminar-training on the 5th level trainer training course "Epidemiology of infectious diseases".

In the Academy of State Policy and Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a seminar-training was held on the 5th level training course "Infectious Disease Epidemiology" within the framework of the project implemented in cooperation with KOISA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) in order to reduce the burden of disease and improve the system of combating infectious diseases in the field of sanitary-epidemiological security and public health.

Specialists of the Sanepid Committee and the Committee and its regional departments, the center for retraining and upgrading personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health, the Center for the fight against HIV and Tashkent State Medical University took part in the seminar-training. In the seminar-training held interactively, the topics of burden of diseases were explained through the presentation, and the participants got answers to their questions.

During the 5-day workshop, KOISA-Korea University PMS professors Lee Yonghan, Park Hanul and researcher Baral Sachchi Chitrakar presented detailed information on the selection and interpretation of indicators of disease status and prevalence.

At the end of the seminar, certificates were awarded to the participants.
