Infectious diseases training completed: international cooperation, important experiences

As previously reported, in cooperation with the Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health and the KOISA organization, the "Infectious Diseases Epidemiology Second Stage TOT" seminar-training was completed as part of the "Project to Improve the System of Combating Infectious Diseases to Reduce the Disease Burden in Uzbekistan".

It was attended by the employees of the Sanepid Committee, the Center for the fight against AIDS, the center for retraining and improving the skills of personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health, Institute of Virology, RIEMYuPKIATM, Tashkent State Medical University.

The training was also attended by the cadets of the Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health in the next open lecture "The State of Quarantine Operations in Major Countries".

At the beginning of the seminar-training, O. Shukurov, Director of the Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, noted that the event started in cooperation with the KOISA organization will allow mutual experience exchange, and expressed his gratitude to Kim Myong Song, Professor of the Cancer Management Department of the Higher Institution of the National Cancer Center. Souvenirs were handed over to the organizers.

Certificates were awarded to the participants at the end of the 4-day seminar.
