The 3rd stage training seminar-training on health statistics was successfully completed

As previously reported, the 3rd stage training seminar-training on health statistics within the framework of the project in cooperation with KOISA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) aimed at reducing the burden of disease in Uzbekistan and improving the system of combating infectious diseases was successfully completed.
The seminar was attended by the Sanepid Committee, Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, and Tashkent State Medical University.
The main goal of the training was to improve the quality of statistical data and monitoring processes in the healthcare system, to develop analytical thinking in specialists, to correctly assess the epidemiological situation, and to strengthen the skills of maintaining information in accordance with international requirements.
During the sessions, theoretical and practical experience was shared in the following areas:
📌modern theoretical knowledge of health statistics;
📌 methods of statistical and epidemiological analysis;
📌 effective use of digital information systems;
📌calculation and assessment of infectious disease indicators.
An important aspect of the training is that specialists who have successfully completed the program will work as local trainers in the regions and contribute to improving the culture of statistics and strengthening the efficiency of the system.
At the end of this training-training of trainers, which lasted for five days, the participants were given certificates of the type specified within the framework of the KOISA project.
