Mobile training on ecology and environmental hygiene was held in Tashkent Botanical Garden

For the cadets of the center for retraining and improving their skills in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health, the internship was organized in the Tashkent Botanical Garden within the module of ecology and environmental hygiene.

Dozens of global problems - climate change, atmospheric air pollution, rising temperature of the planet, drought - all of them are the result of human damage to nature over the centuries.

The scientific worker of the Botanical Garden, the head of the systematics department, Fatima Primova, explained to the cadets the importance of green areas, especially:

in air purification,
in improving the oxygen balance and microclimate,
in reducing stress and fatigue in people,
He explained about the incomparable role of trees in ensuring the ecological stability of the urban environment.

‼️He gave information about the degree of allergenicity depending on the type of trees, pollination period, and their positive effect on health with practical examples.

The cadets increased their knowledge and experience in the following areas:

📌 ecological systems and their stability;
📌The role of the botanical garden in preserving the national flora;
📌 sanitary-hygienic importance of green areas;
The role of plants in improving the quality of city air.

During the training, they also got acquainted with practices such as identification of allergenic plants, evaluation of environmental risk factors, and comparison of characteristics of plant species.

Feruza Khakimova, senior teacher of the Center, gave a lecture on ecology and environmental hygiene module. He explained about environmental hygiene assessment methods, relevance of ecological monitoring and modern approaches.

Tashkent Botanical Garden serves as a natural laboratory and makes a great contribution to enriching the knowledge and practice of cadets.
