The 4th stage training seminar-training on health statistics was held

In our capital, within the framework of the project in cooperation with KOISA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) aimed at reducing the burden of disease in Uzbekistan and improving the system of combating infectious diseases, the 4th stage training seminar-training on health statistics was held.

The seminar was attended by the Sanepid Committee, Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, Tashkent State Medical University and Chirchik Branch of TDTU.

Professor An Hyeong Jin, dean of the Higher School of Public Health of Korea University, who visited from Korea, and Ji Hee Jung, professor of the Department of Information Statistics of Chungbuk National University, gave lectures at the training held in order to improve the quality of statistical data and monitoring processes in the healthcare system, develop analytical thinking among specialists, correctly assess the epidemiological situation, and strengthen the skills of managing information in accordance with international requirements.

During the sessions, theoretical and practical experience was shared in the following areas:
📌modern theoretical knowledge of health statistics;
📌 methods of statistical and epidemiological analysis;
📌 effective use of digital information systems;
📌calculation and assessment of infectious disease indicators.

At the end of this training-training of trainers, which lasted for five days, the participants were given certificates of the type specified within the framework of the KOISA project.
