The seminar-training within the framework of the 3rd stage trainer training course on health statistics has been completed

As previously reported, the Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, as well as the seminar-training within the framework of the 3rd stage trainer training course on health statistics within the framework of the project implemented in cooperation with KOISA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) in order to reduce the disease burden and improve the system of combating infectious diseases in Uzbekistan.

Employees of the Sanepid Committee and regional departments of the Committee and the center for retraining and upgrading personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health took part.

- I would like to emphasize that the seminar-training took place in an interactive way, - says Rustamjon Ikramov, head of the Sanepid Committee. - Experts of KOISA organization and professor of the Department of Medical Sciences of Korea University Yohan Lee explained the topics of GBD-infectious disease burden through a presentation and gave answers to the questions of the seminar participants.
During the 5-day workshop, knowledge and skills on the selection and interpretation of disease status and prevalence indicators were increased.

At the end of the seminar, certificates were awarded to the participants.
