For the cadets of the center for retraining and upgrading of personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health, the Shaikhontohur district branch of the Sanitary-epidemiological peace and public health committee held training and specialized training.
Anvar Shukurov, Ph.D., head of the department of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Committee, and Nilufar Kadyrova, a medical epidemiologist of the Republican Center for the Fight against AIDS, took part in it with their topical lectures.
In these trainings, the cadets were given detailed information about the practical measures taken in the process of joining the World Trade Organization (WTO), the harmonization of legislative and technical documents in the field of food safety with the requirements of the Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SFS measures) of the WTO and the standards of the Alimentarius Codex, and the reforms being implemented in the field of ensuring the safety of food products.
Also, today's reforms and news regarding HIV infection were explained in an interactive way. Information was provided on measures to be taken by medical personnel to prevent the spread of HIV infection in hospital conditions.
