Workshop on food safety management system

A seminar is being held on training for the manager/internal auditor course of the food safety management system according to ISO 22000:2018 (HASSP) at the Center for retraining and improving the qualifications of personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health.

This seminar was organized with the technical support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in accordance with the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to accelerate the process of becoming a member of the World Trade Organization of the Republic of Uzbekistan", as well as in order to harmonize the food safety system with international requirements.

Experts working on food safety of the Sanepid Committee and departments of Tashkent city and Tashkent region administrations are participating in this seminar.  At the seminar, employees and managers in the food industry received important information on the development of HASSP standards, their implementation and monitoring.

The participants of the seminar had the opportunity to increase their knowledge, acquire new skills and learn the practices for the effective and safe implementation of the HASSP system in the future. The seminar also discussed the main difficulties in implementing the HASSP system and ways to overcome them.

The participants of the training are getting the necessary knowledge from the seminar with the help of great lectures and practical exercises, which will help to implement the HASSP system effectively.
