The next 3-stage seminar on "Scientific research, innovation, creation of new knowledge and technologies and the development of opportunities for their implementation" (R&D) has started at the Academy of Public Policy and Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Specialists of the Sanepid Committee, Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, ITI of Virology and Tashkent State Medical University are participating in the seminar, which was organized within the framework of the project "Reducing the burden of diseases in Uzbekistan, improving the system of combating infectious diseases" between Koryo University and the Sanepid Committee.

Within the framework of the 5-day seminar, it is planned to hold training sessions and trainings on strengthening the national research capacity in the field of infectious diseases management, as well as on writing scientific articles, by professors Choon Byunchol and Yoon Yongkyon from the Republic of Korea and researcher Kim Jiyeon (in the field of epidemiology and infectious diseases).
