"Project to improve the system of combating infectious diseases to reduce the burden of disease in Uzbekistan"

The 5-day seminar-training held as part of the "Project to improve the system of combating infectious diseases to reduce the burden of disease in Uzbekistan" has come to an end.

During the 2nd seminar-training "On increasing the capacity of scientific research and development" organized in cooperation with the center for retraining and improving the qualifications of personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health and KOISA organization, the participants exchanged experiences and strengthened their theoretical and practical knowledge on current topics.

The Sanepid Committee, its regional departments and the employees of the above center actively participated in the event.

At the end of the seminar, special certificates were awarded to all participants.

This collaborative project is one of the important steps towards reducing the burden of diseases and increasing the capacity of the health system.
