A modern approach to nutrition

One of the urgent problems that concern humanity today are diseases caused by improper nutrition. Malnutrition, or on the contrary - the consumption of harmful products, the violation of the balance between nutrition and physical activity, threatens the health of not only the individual, but also the entire society.

Held at Tashkent State Medical University  "Modern Approach in Nutrition"  It was specially discussed at the international scientific-practical conference.

The conference was organized in cooperation with "Association of Nutritionists of Uzbekistan" and TDTU. M. Khamrakulova and I. Uluknazarova, chief specialist of the Center for retraining and upgrading of personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health, also participated. Chairman of "Association of Nutritionists of Uzbekistan", professor Guli Shaykhova, professor Feruza Azizova, professor Kahramon Khaitov, in the opening speech, emphasized that the role of nutrition science is incomparable in the formation of a healthy lifestyle, especially children's and teenagers' eating culture.

Famous scientists from neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan and Tajikistan participated in the international conference and gave speeches on the online platform. In particular, professors Maygul Kaynarbayeva and Akkumis Salkhanova of the National Medical University of Kazakhstan, as well as professor Solex Sharipov from Tajikistan, touched on new research in the field of nutrition.

Feruza Salomova, a professor of TDTU, an accomplished specialist in the field of hygiene, gave information about health problems caused by nutritional imbalance in school-aged children. In his lecture, Professor Nizom Ermatov talked about the real problems in the nutrition of the population of Uzbekistan - conditions ranging from excess carbohydrates and undernutrition, to weight loss and anemia.

At the conference, issues related to the areas of nutritionology related to various fields of medicine - sports, endocrinology, pediatrics, geriatrics and occupational diseases were also raised. Opinions were exchanged about the use of national dishes in the diet, the benefits of biologically active additives and the importance of the international HASSP system in food safety.

After the questions and answers, proposals and conclusions by the participants of the conference, decisions were made that would serve the development of the industry. This conference gained special importance not only with scientific and practical exchange, but also with new ideas and proposals for raising a healthy generation.
