Communication training is taking place within the framework of the "Global Program for Laboratory Leaders/Managers" at the Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health.

The training was opened by O. Shukurov, Director of the Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health.

On the basis of the technical support of the World Health Organization, a project aimed at adapting the activities of national laboratories to international standards has been implemented in Uzbekistan, and the Global Training Program (GLLP) has been introduced to provide mentoring support to the leaders of laboratories in the human health, animal health and environmental sectors.
During the seminar-training, M. Saidova, the head of the Information Service of the Sanepid Committee, gave lectures on the topics "Effective communication of leading personnel and the skills of cooperation with the media", "Information policy and its content" and "The role of the media in creating the image of the organization", practical exercises were conducted.
We remind you that in this program, which will continue for 2025-2026, the participants will fully master nine competencies - management, communication, biosafety and bioprotection, quality management system, management and leadership, disease monitoring and epidemic control, emergency preparedness, scientific research and laboratory system, as well as write a dissertation.
