The role of the laboratory in epidemiological control of diseases

Training on the module "The role of the laboratory in the epidemiological control of diseases" was held in cooperation with the center for retraining and upgrading of personnel in the field of sanitary-epidemiological security and public health, in cooperation with the representative office of the World Health Organization in Uzbekistan, as part of the "Global Program for Laboratory Leaders".

Facilitators - S.Dzhemilyeva and R.Ibragimov gave lectures and practical training in the "Principles of Epidemiological Control" and "Investigation of Epidemic Outbreaks" modules.

At the seminar, participants strengthened their practical skills on "Types of epidnadzor", "Epidemiological inquiry stages", "Practical epidnadzor system in Uzbekistan" and "Epidemiological control and organization of response measures to epidemic situations".

The trainees who successfully completed the training were awarded a certificate.
