The R&D workshop focused on the development of scientific research and innovation has been completed

The next 3-stage seminar on "Scientific research, innovation, creation of new knowledge and technologies and the development of opportunities for their implementation" (R&D) was completed at the Academy of State Policy and Management under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Specialists of the Sanepid Committee, Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, ITI of Virology and Tashkent State Medical University actively participated in the seminar, which was organized as part of the project "Reducing the burden of diseases in Uzbekistan, improving the system of combating infectious diseases" in cooperation between Koryo University and the Sanitary Committee.

Within the framework of the 5-day seminar, professors Choon Byungchol and Yoon Yongkyon from the Republic of Korea, as well as researcher Kim Jiyeon (in the field of epidemiology and infectious diseases), conducted training sessions and practical training on strengthening the national research capacity in the field of infectious disease management, writing scientific articles.

This seminar served to increase the scientific potential of specialists, to study international experience, and to further improve the system of combating infectious diseases.
