Closing ceremony and award ceremony held for GLLP Cohort 1 graduates

For the first time in Uzbekistan, a project aimed at adapting the activities of national laboratories to international standards - providing mentoring support to the leaders of laboratories of the human health, animal health and environmental sectors, the final ceremony and award ceremony was held for the graduates of the 1st cohort of the Global training program.

By December 2025, a laboratory specialist from the public health, veterinary and environmental sectors has successfully mastered 9 key competencies within the program and defended diploma projects under the guidance of national mentors.

During the event organized by the World Health Organization and the center for training and professional development of personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health, the final presentation on the results of the GLLP program was shown in Uzbekistan, and the ceremony of awarding diplomas to the participants of the 1st cohort was held.
