Training courses on "Biological safety and biological defense" have started

Today, the issue of biological safety is gaining urgent importance for the world community. It is an important task for us to train qualified personnel and constantly improve their knowledge and skills to prevent infectious diseases, protect public health and effectively respond to various biological threats.
Training courses on "Biological safety and biological defense" have started today in our capital in cooperation with the center for retraining and improving the skills of personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
O'Shukurov, Director of the Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, opened the event and noted that now biological hazards and infectious diseases are considered a serious issue for all countries.
The five-day advanced training courses will provide an opportunity for advanced training based on world standards and best practices, and serve as a source of new knowledge and practical skills for visiting epidemiologists and infectious disease specialists.
Specialists of the Tashkent city and Tashkent region departments of the Committee are participating in the training courses held on September 22-26. In the future, it is planned to train specialists from all regional departments of the Sanepid Committee in such courses.
