As previously reported, the five-day training courses on "Biological safety and biological protection" for specialists of the Bukhara and Navoi regions of Sanepidgom were completed.
Deputy Director of the Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health I. Ulugnazarova, UNOPS Specialist D. Rustamov, and Head of the Center's Department for Studying International Experience and Applying Modern Scientific Methodology to the Training Process D. Kuziyeva spoke at the certificate awarding ceremony. They emphasized that infectious diseases are a serious problem for all countries today, and emphasized that the knowledge and experience gained in this course will create a solid foundation in the practical activities of the participants and will be of great importance in protecting the health of the population.
The five-day refresher courses provide an opportunity for trainees to upgrade their skills based on world standards and best practices, and serve as a source of new knowledge and practical skills for visiting epidemiologists and infectious disease specialists from the regions. In training courses, the participants got answers to their questions, got information about the field from experienced specialists, and got to know the working processes of the Virology Laboratory of Sanepidqom.
Certificates were awarded to the participants at the end of the training courses.
