Training courses on "Biological safety and biological protection" are ongoing

Specialists of the Jizzakh and Samarkand regions of the Sanepid Committee took part in the 5-day training courses on the topic "Biological safety and biological protection", which were organized in cooperation with the center for retraining and improving the skills of personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health and the United Nations Office of Project Services (UNOPS).

During the course conducted interactively, lectures were given by N. Karshiyeva and G. Radjapbayeva, specialists of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Committee, as well as M. Madaminov and I. Zaitov, experts in the field.

During the training, the participants increased their theoretical and practical knowledge of biosecurity, bioprotection, risk management and emergency preparedness.

The participants also got acquainted with the activities of the Virology Laboratory of the Sanitary Committee. Laboratory employee I. Zaitov gave detailed explanations on biosafety control measures. At the end of the course, certificates were presented to the participating experts from the departments and departments of the Sanepid Committee of Jizzakh and Samarkand regions.

The next training courses for specialists from departments and departments of the Sanepid Committee of Bukhara and Navoi regions have started.
