Biosecurity: developing theoretical and practical skills

The 5-day training courses on "Biological safety and biological defense" for specialists of the Kashkadarya and Surkhondarya regional departments of Sanepidgom, organized in cooperation with the center of personnel retraining and their qualification in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health and the United Nations Project Services Office (UNOPS) in our capital, were completed and certificates were awarded to the participants.

The five-day refresher courses provide an opportunity for trainees to upgrade their skills based on world standards and best practices, and serve as a source of new knowledge and practical skills for visiting epidemiologists and infectious disease specialists from the regions. In training courses, the participants received answers to their questions, received information from experienced specialists and got acquainted with the working processes of the Virology Laboratory of Sanepidgom.

During this week, seminars on 5-day training courses on "Biological safety and biological protection" will be held for specialists of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm regional departments of Sanepidgom.
