The sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health committee held a festive event on March 8 "International Women's Day". It was attended by employees of the Sanepid Committee, Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, and the National Reference Laboratory.

Bahadir Yusupaliyev, chairman of the sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health committee, opened the event with an introduction and congratulated all women and girls on the holiday.

Nurmat Atabekov, the first deputy chairman of the Sanepid Committee, also warmly congratulated everyone on the holiday.

During the event, which was celebrated in an upbeat mood, the badge of "Health Excellence" was ceremoniously awarded to the women who work effectively in the Sanepid Committee and the Centre for Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel in the Field of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health, as well as letters of thanks from the Ministry of Health and the Committee.

Elmira Suyunova, the head of the department of the center for retraining and improving the qualifications of personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health, was also given a letter of thanks for her effective work and contribution to the development of the field.

At the end of the event, women's songs in praise of women gave grace and uplifting spirit to the circle. Commemorative gifts were distributed to honorable women and girls on the occasion of the holiday.
