A seminar-training was held on the 4th stage of the trainer training course "On Epidemiology of Infectious Diseases"

In the framework of the project implemented in cooperation with the center for retraining and improving the skills of personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health and KOISA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) in order to reduce the burden of disease and improve the system of combating infectious diseases in Uzbekistan, a seminar-training was held on the 4th stage training course for trainers "Infectious diseases epidemiology".

Employees of the Sanepid Committee and regional departments of the Committee and the center for retraining and upgrading personnel in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare and public health took part.

In the seminar-training held interactively, the topics of burden of diseases were explained through the presentation, and the participants got answers to their questions.
During the 5-day workshop, Prof. Kim Myong Song provided detailed information on the selection and interpretation of disease status and prevalence indicators.

At the end of the seminar, certificates were awarded to the participants.
